The romantic drama stars Andrea Riseborough (Possessor), Michael Landes, Shirin Redha, Ahmed Talaat, Janie Aziz, Indigo Rønlov, Trude Reed and Shahira Fahmy. Plot: When British aid worker Hana returns to the ancient city of Luxor, she meets former lover Sultan. As she wanders, haunted by the familiar place, she struggles to reconcile the choices of the past with the uncertainty of the present. Luxor is set against the backdrop of the ancient Egyptian city of Luxor, with Andrea Riseborough playing a doctor and British aid worker seeking respite after an overwhelming period spent working at a clinic in Ramtha on the Jordanian-Syrian border, where she specialised in treating victims wounded in the war in Syria. It’s also about a woman in her early 40s at a crossroads in her life, who re-encounters an old lover in Luxor. It’s really beautifully shot and restrained but with a layer of emotional turbulence too. Karim is a researcher interested in fields of economy, politics and education who worked in various projects related to those fields. He is the coordinator of the Student Ambassador Program at AUC and likes to dedicate time to help with general matters that relate to student life and culture. Although Karim isn't a researcher in the field of Education, most of his work at AUC involves training, teaching, and mentoring students. Karim believes in the creativity of delivering education and new methods of learning, a "humble" activist as he likes to call himself. He does a lot of social work with several NGO's. Karim is a graduate of London School of Economics and is currently doing his graduate studies in the field of international economics. Karim can be best described as dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic.
